Turkish M1 Garand / Mauser Ersatz Bayonet. These bayonets are interesting historical items, being that they started life as German WWI Ersatz Mauser bayonets. Following Germany's defeat, many of these bayonets ended up in Turkish hands, where they were utilized for their Mausers. After WWII, Turkey restandardized on the M1 Garand rifle and began retrofitting their Mauser bayonets to fit M1 Garand rifles. These bayonets attach to the M1 Garand in the same manner the M5 bayonets do; with a stud on the crossguard. Overall, the condition is fair, with nicks on the blade present. These bayonets are crudely made but an interesting historical footnote nonetheless. Includes scabbard.

Please note, it seems that the Turks individually fit these bayonets to rifles. These bayonets may require fitting to your rifle!
